Bekah Marie Photography · Indianapolis

About Bekah

I have been photographing people in and around Indianapolis for fifteen years. Weddings are most of what I do, but the families I meet keep coming back, and watching their children grow up a session at a time is easily the best part of this job.

How I work

I believe every person is worth looking at properly. My job is to notice what makes you you, and to hold on to it, so that years from now the photographs still feel like the people in them rather than a set of poses.

That means I stay out of the way more than I direct. I will put you somewhere with good light, give you something easy to do, and then wait for the real thing to happen. The frames people frame are almost never the ones where everybody was looking at me.

I studied photography at John Brown University and have been shooting professionally ever since. My husband and I married in 2018, and he second shoots weddings with me, so on a wedding day there are two of us watching for everything one person would miss.

You deal with me directly from the first email to the finished gallery, and once you have booked you get my personal number. No account manager, no studio inbox.
